This year, the focus of our collective work will be on the practice of Embodiment. The Healthy Primal self, viewed through the lens of Earth, is unity in the body through an holistic awareness of the animal senses. By getting in touch with physical sensation we will more readily recognize when something is out of alignment with our Wills. This awareness is the key to acting in abiding integrity.
Primal Ordeal will boast a robust program around our shared interests in heritage arts and sacred kink. Workshops on topics ranging from mask work and body painting to rope technique for ritual work will be offered throughout the weekend. Camp-wide rituals will help create community and sanctify our work. Monitored Temple space will be available both evenings of the event. An open section of forest will be designated for personal ordeal work.
We are very pleased to welcome Darklady (Theresa Reed) as our second Honored Elder.
Becoming Diplomacy: Embodiment as a Lifestyle
Let’s talk about diplomacy. In a jaded society where no one can be trusted, immediate gratification is a virtue, reflexive consumption is patriotic, and aggression is strength, diplomacy can be a hard sell. Yet, sincere and heart-felt diplomacy is the best way to resolve conflict, diffuse tension, gain insight, and develop a workable resolution.
What are the skills one needs to gain or nurture for effective diplomacy, and how does one become proficient in them? Bring your wisdom, curiosity, speaking, and listening abilities to this guided circle discussion on how to embody diplomacy and make it a part of your daily life.

7 Suspension Slots Remaining!
The cornerstone of the festival, ORBS will be present to offer public hook suspensions and a hook pull (as part of Saturday evening's main ritual) to the community. There are 9 total suspension slots available, and 20 in the pull. There is an additional cost involved as spots are limited and the ORBS team will be providing equipment and material resources for each individual. If you would like to participate in either activity, please select the correct option when registering. (We will note it above when all slots have been filled.) Spaces will fill up fast, so register early to ensure your participation.
ORBS has been providing ritual ordeal, seasonal celebrations and training to the Portland-area community since 2012.
