A Radically Spiritual Statement on Identity
It has been our experience that the vast majority of the members of our overlapping communities locate themselves somewhere along a gender or sexual minority axis; especially when one includes members of BDSM-related and other marginalized identities.
We are working hard here to create something different: radically diverse and inclusive space that has room for every possible expression of identity. By all means, let us do all that is customary to make space “inclusive” in the standard progressive sense; but let us do it with a fiercer joy and for everyone here equally.
If someone stumbles, let us be prepared to offer grace, for not all of us are as familiar with each other's values and etiquette as we may be used to expecting in more homogenous spaces. Try to assume the best intentions in those around you. Remember to treat others better than you would like to be treated; for this is sacred ground.
Ask & Honor pronouns, D/s titles, etc.
No one's identity is to be marginalized, teased, or abused in any way.
Nobody's Identity is better/more important than anyone else's.
No one's body is to be shamed for any reason.
If you are touching someone, remember Who it is you are touching.
Police no Language, but translate to the speaker's intent.
Restate for clarity if needed.
And if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.
Every person here is a completely unique being the like of which has never existed before and shall never exist again. In this sense, each person's gender, orientation, and D/s or other Identities are entirely unique to them. We do not just accept but we honor and celebrate each and every person here as a manifestation of the Divine clothed in flesh - for a time.
In other words,
Do Thy Best to Play Along.
